Plumber Mirrabooka

When an excavator unexpectedly uncovered a burst water pipe in Mirrabooka, Western Australia earlier this year, Jim’s Plumbing received an urgent call from the property owner. He explained there was water gushing out of the broken pipe, which had been under a concrete slab and he needed a plumber on site as soon as possible. Our experienced plumber wasted no time in isolating the water supply to the burst copper pipe and set about removing the broken section. Using parts from his van, he replaced those sections with new copper piping. When he was sure the new sections were properly joined to the existing pipework, he turned the water back on and tested his workmanship. The replaced section passed the test with flying colours and the plumber was able to provide the customer with a certificate of compliance for the work, as is required in Western Australia. A mere 45 minutes was all this Jim’s Plumbing plumber needed to resolve a potentially disastrous situation. After finding out about our services online, a new customer decided to submit an online booking through our website. Our Jim's Plumbing team received the online booking on the 17th of November at approximately 9:30 am to which the customer received a call back less than 10 minutes after submission from a member of our friendly call centre team. The online booking explained that their gas Rinnai hot water system was leaking from the bottom of the unit and that the system was approximately 10 years old, so was unsure whether the system could be repaired or they required a replacement. After speaking to the customer regarding availabilities for that day, we organized for one of our friendly plumber/gas fitters to attend between 3 pm and 6 pm. The plumber SV arrived promptly in that timeframe. Upon his thorough inspection, it was found that the system, in fact, did need to be replaced, which our plumber gave a quote for then and there. We also offered an interest free payment plan option but the customer decided they wanted to think on it a little before getting any work done. Recently we received a call from a customer that was very concerned with a leaking gas pipe somewhere on his property. He contacted the Jim’s call centre office at 2.20 pm on the 7th of December and requested for an appointment with one of our plumbers to attend his property ASAP. Therefore, the plumber replaced 1 metre of copper piping from the gas metre onsite. Whilst onsite the plumber MH also identified that there was another leak coming from the customer’s very old Bosch hot water system and was able to advise the customer of this problem and provided him with a no obligation quote for us to replace and install a new Bosch 10P with the old unit and also run 10metres of 20mm gas piping on the wall to replace the old dodgy pipework to new copper piping. The customer was more than happy with the plumber’s advice and would consider his options in regards to the hot water system upgrade. He happily paid his account owing with our convenient mobile EFTPOS machine and had his invoice emailed to him as per his request.
