Plumber Kensington

On the 21st of January, Jim’s Plumbing had a rather high number of callouts. We had a customer call in at 11:39 am who was located in the Kensington area on High Street advising that he was experiencing blocked sewer drains which were becoming extremely smelly and annoying for the household. Our call centre and dispatch team worked together in an attempt to have a plumber attend as soon as possible and had the plumber to our customer’s doorstep by 12:59 pm. Our plumber attended with the necessary drain equipment and more, prepared for almost any plumbing emergency thrown his way. Our plumber got straight to work, he assessed the site and rodded up and down the main drain from the access point being a vent on the property and noticed the pipe was located under the driveway. Upon clearing the drain with the hydro-jet machine, our plumber was unsure of what actually caused the blockage but did notice that the customer’s pipework was in fact damaged and was in need of replacing. The plumber was able to provide our customer with the advice in which they needed to prevent any further plumbing problems down the track.

On the 29th of January, Jim’s Plumbing received a call from a customer in Kensington, Victoria. This customer was annoyed by a leaking laundry tap. Due to family commitments that night we booked a plumber for the next day, the 30th. Our plumber arrived onsite to Wight Street in Kensington precisely at 9:07 am. Our plumber was able to access the tap straight away and carried out the replacement of a hydro seal washer. The plumber also tested the tap to ensure there were no further leaks. All work was carried out within half an hour and successfully repaired. Once the job was completed our customer service team followed up with the customer to ensure 100% satisfaction from our visit. The customer advised she thought our plumber was “great, he also did a fantastic job and he was just such a nice guy." The customer was able to pay her invoice via mobile EFTPOS and had a printed receipt directly from the plumber on site.

On June 14th at 9:30 am, Jim's Plumbing Kensington received a call from a new customer in the local area. The customer needed a plumber to look at their Everhot 260 litre hot water system. They suspected that the heating element was broken on the unit as it was only producing lukewarm water. The customer was available that day and was pleased that we could arrange for a plumber to attend by 12:00 pm. The customer was happy we were able to provide a quick service and booked the job in straight away. One of our local plumbers arrived at the Mawbey Street address at 10:48 am that morning. After first completing a job safety analysis, the plumber looked over the 260 litre gas hot water service and found that the thermostat and element needed to be replaced as they were tripping the safety switch. This was why there was only lukewarm water and it would continue to trip the safety switch if they were not replaced. Our fully qualified plumber was able to quote to supply and install the new parts and was able to install them on the same visit as he had the parts stocked inside his van. The customer was very happy to have their hot water working system working in tip-top shape again and they have not had any issues since our plumber attended. Once the work was completed, the customer chose to pay using our convenient mobile EFTPOS facilities.
