Plumber Beckenham

On the 29th of June at 11:27 am, Jim's Plumbing received a phone call from a customer located in the local area of Beckenham who required their thermostat replaced on their Dux 125 litre electric hot water system. Having heard we are a plumbing service that promises same day service, they were looking to have a plumber out as soon as possible. Fortunately, we had a choice of several fully qualified plumbers and licensed gas fitters within the area who could attend. Happy with the quick service, the customer went ahead with the booking. The plumber arrived on site at Jubilee Street at 11:52 am that same day. All of our plumbers first check the site to make sure it is safe to complete the work. Once the safety check had been completed the plumber then began work. He was able to quickly and efficiently identify that not only did the thermostat need replacing but also the element, and he provided the customer with a fixed price to complete the work. The customer accepted the quote and was able to replace the element and thermostat and organise for an electrician to attend to connect the electricity. Using the tools and spare parts located conveniently in his van, he was able to complete the job all within 30 minutes. The plumber provided a certificate of compliance, as well as a copy of the invoice following the payment the customer made using the manual Eftpos machine located in the plumber’s van.

On the 4th of November at 6:30 am a customer called through to our Jim's Plumbing centre as he had noticed a water pipe had burst. The customer requested a timeframe of between 9 am – 12 pm that day. Our plumber arrived at the Beckenham street address in Beckenham within the allocated timeframe and began work on the burst pipe located in the roof space. The copper pipe had become corroded which caused the pipe to begin leaking water. Using materials in the fully stocked van, our plumber was able to cut out the broken part of the 50mm out and replace it with brand new copper piping including fittings and couplings. Once completed, the plumber provided the customer with a printed invoice as well as a certificate of compliance. The customer chose to pay via his credit card using the mobile EFTPOS machine located in the plumber's van.

It was Thursday the 17th of January at 10:45 am, our Jim’s Plumbing booking team received a web enquiry from a customer who had advised us that his shower washer would not turn all the way off. Within five minutes of receiving the customer’s web enquiry, he received a phone call from one of our friendly booking team members to organise a time for one of our fully qualified and accredited plumber’s to attend. As this was the customer’s only day off of work time he requested that a plumber arrives at his Beckenham Street home in Beckenham on the 17th of January between 12 am and 3 pm that day, as per his request.

Our plumber arrived well within the allocated timeframe that was given to the customer and assessed the customer’s shower problem straightaway. The plumber was able to repair the shower for the customer by replacing the tapware to the main bathroom wall using hydro seal washers also to ensure no leaking would occur.

Once the plumber had finished he checked it to make sure that there were no strange noises coming from the shower wall or any leaks detected. Our plumber was able to then provide the customer with a printed copy of the invoice in which the customer paid to the plumber using his credit card with the plumber’s mobile EFTPOS machine. The plumber had completed the work and was offsite within 25 minutes.

Our customer service representative contacted the customer 2 days later to follow up on how our plumber performed and he said that “Everything was done all right and he got the job fixed with no further problems”. A Certificate of Compliance was also completed to ensure that the work was done correctly by an approved professional plumber.
