Plumber Highett

The 8th of April was a busy day for Jim's Plumbing. Our plumbers and gas fitters worked around the clock in order to provide the same day solution to as many customers as possible. A customer in Highett, Victoria called through to our call centre advising that he had a blocked bathroom basin drain, however, no other drains were being affected. He was hoping to have a plumber attend as quickly as possible, so we organised for a plumber to attend within the next timeframe of between 11am and 2pm.

Jim's Plumbing Highett arrived onsite to the property on Beaumaris Parade well within the timeframe, at exactly 11:55am. Our plumbers attend to all customer premises with completely stocked vehicles which carry around quality plumbing materials for almost any general maintenance plumbing job, including drain equipment for blocked drains. It didn’t take long for our plumber to identify why the drain in the bathroom was blocked, our plumber simply needed to clean the P trap connected to the drain, providing a solution in no time at all. Our customer was so pleased that it was such a quick and easy fix and that we had a number of options for payment with either cash, cheque or card – whichever is most convenient for our customers.

Burst pipes can cause a lot of damage. More damage than needed. This is why it is best to get a burst pipe sorted out as soon as possible. On 6th November at around 8:50am, Jims Plumbing Highett received a telephone call from a customer in the Highett area, the customer was located on Miller Street. The customer advised the call centre staff that they had an external leaking pipe down the side of their house. The customer asked for the next available plumber to attend as there was quite a lot of water.

The dispatch team here at Jim's Plumbing was able to provide the customer with a within the hour time frame so the plumber would be on the Highett customer property by 9:45am. A within the hour time frame means the plumber can attend within the next hour of placing the booking. The customer was relieved with this fast service as no more damage would be done.
At 9:20am just 30 minutes after the customer had placed the booking the plumber arrived on site ready to help the customer with the external burst pipe. The plumber first did a safety check on site to make sure everything was safe for the plumber to continue. Once he deemed everything safe on site he was then able to begin work. The plumber dug up and cut a new section of 20MM copper pipe and installed a new section
Once everything was fixed the plumber then moved onto his next job in a nearby suburb.

On the 21 st of August at 8:38am, a customer of Highett in Victoria contacted the team at Jim’s Plumbing via a web enquiry and our booking agent, Ness, contacted the customer immediately. The customer advised Ness that they were wanting assistance with having all of the washers in a small unit replaced to reduce the dripping in the bathroom and kitchen. Ness checked the availability of the local plumber and was able to advise the customer that we could attend between the hours of 2pm and 5pm on the 27th of August, as per their request. The customer was very happy that they could get a plumber out when they requested it and booked the plumber in.
Our fully qualified and licensed plumber, Brett, arrived at the customer’s Rose Street address at 1:59pm on the 27th of October, as promised by Ness. Brett was in his state of the art van which is always stocked with a large range of spare parts and fittings which are suitable for most jobs, as well as the latest tools and technology in the gas and plumbing industry, so he can always get the job done efficiently. Brett got to work on replacing the bath tapware, the shower tapware and the basin tapware in the customer’s bathroom. All of the tapware was tested and Brett confirmed it was all installed correctly. The customer made a payment on Brett’s onboard mobile Eftpos machine and he then left the property at 3:14pm.
