Plumber Grange

One evening on the 3rd of June at 6.47pm our friendly 24 hour call centre operator received a call from a new customer to the Jim's Plumbing group regarding a bathroom shower tap that would not turn off. Lucky for them our staff was easily able to schedule for one of our local plumbers to attend their Daphne Street address in Grange the following day on the 4th June between 11-2pm, as per the customer’s request.
On the day, the plumber easily located the customer's address through his onboard GPS tracking computer and attended the home promptly with the designated timeframe that was advised to the customer at the time of the booking. Upon arrival, the plumber greeted the customer and after deeming the job safe to proceed he quickly got to work. The plumber identified that the main bathroom taps needed replacing as the old spindles were leaking.
The plumber’s work involved replacing both the hot and cold spindle s and new tap washers, which the plumber was able to get onsite from his well-stocked van. On completion, he tested for any leaks, with none being identified.
On completion the plumber tidied up after himself and placed a Jim's Plumbing sticker on the hot water unit for future reference should the customer need our services again. The plumber advised the customer that the new parts installed were under warranty for 1 year and provided them with an invoice of the work completed also.
The customer was very happy with the job done and was able to easily pay with their bank card on the mobile Eftpos machine that the plumber had readily available in his well-stocked van. The customer was also emailed a copy of their work invoice as per their request shortly after the job was done.

On Monday the 14th of January a customer phoned through to our Jim’s Plumbing booking team at 12:27 pm as she had some general maintenance plumbing work needing to be carried out at her home. This included a laundry tap that had fallen off, a leaking toilet cistern and a bathroom tap that was loose. As requested by the customer we were able to offer her a timeframe between 2 pm and 5 pm on Tuesday the 17th of January.
On Tuesday our plumber arrived at the Kirkcaldy Avenue home in Grange within the allocated timeframe at 2:31 pm and assessed the laundry tap, the leaking toilet cistern and the loose bathroom tap. The plumber was able to replace the laundry spout and test it to make sure that there were no leaks, tighten the bathroom basin spout as well as replace its O-rings and replace the ball valve and the outlet rubber on the toilet.
This was able to be done during the plumber’s attendance as the parts and materials needed were all stocked items in the plumber’s van. Once the plumber had finished his work the customer was then provided with a printed invoice and paid this with her credit card via the plumber’s mobile EFTPOS machine. The job was completed and the plumber was offsite within one hour.

Late morning on the 17th of December, Jim's Plumbing had a call from a previous client who needed a plumber ASAP. The customer’s kitchen taps were completely unusable. The hot tap would now no longer switch off and was continually running. The cold taps were in similar condition and was spinning on the spot if turned. The customer service operator set an appointment between 12 pm-3 pm that day to attend and help the client.
The plumber arrived on Seaview Road and attended the residence. With the water mains switched off, the plumber dismantled the taps and as expected, they were completely worn out. The only real solution is to replace the tapware to avoid this happening again. The customer was happy with this and picked out a set he liked from the plumber's van. The plumber then swiftly installed the new taps and tested others in the house just in case. The kitchen taps were the only ones in need of replacing and the customer was happy. He paid for the service using his bank card and the plumber’s EFTPOS machine, had the 12 month guarantee advised to him and was relieved he could now turn his water on once more. The customer has used Jim's multiple times in the past and will continue to do so for the prompt, professional service and a company he can always rely on.
