Plumber Toowong

A new customer from Toowong sent through a web booking on the Jim's Plumbing website. They were needing a plumber to replace a plastic cap on the pipe leading from their house to the hot water system. Once our booking staff received the web booking, they called the customer immediately and were able to arrange for a plumber to attend the next day, at the customer’s request. Our booking staff arranged for a plumber to attend on June the 11th between 10 am and 1 pm. Our highly experienced plumber Dan arrived at the Mayne Street address at 10 am on the dot on Monday. He pulled up in his shiny new Jim's Plumbing van that was fully stocked with standard parts and materials so that he was able to get to work as soon as he arrived. The plumber took a look at the issue and found that it was the pressure limiting valve that needed to be replaced. Luckily this was one of the items stocked in his van, so he was able to replace it right away. Once the new 500 kPa limiting valve had been installed, he checked the pipe for leaks and made sure that the hot water was mixing correctly through the tempering valve. Our plumber completed the job in an hour and the customer was able to rest easy knowing they were not wasting leaking hot water. Once the job was completed the customer chose to pay via mobile EFTPOS, which is our most popular payment method due to its convenience.

A customer from Toowong contacted Jim's Plumbing at 8:07 pm on the 18th of June and was quite surprised that there was someone available in the booking centre at that time of night, as they were expecting an answering service. When we explained that we are a 24-hour emergency plumbing company, she was very happy. Our bookings team were able to get a plumber out to have a look at her hot water system the next morning between 9 am and 12 pm, which suited the customer’s schedule. The plumber that was dispatched to this job was Jay, who arrived at 9:20 am to start the job and had the job fully completed by 9:59 am. Jay was able to determine that the tempering valve on the hot water system needed to be replaced. Luckily, he had a tempering valve in his well-stocked van so was able to do the job as soon as he arrived onsite. This is handy for our customers as they are not having to wait around for the plumber to go out and source parts for them. Inside our plumbers’ vans, there are a large variety of parts needed for up to 95% of the common jobs we send our plumbers out to do each day. The customer chose to pay for the work using their credit card. This is one of the most popular methods of payment as it is so convenient. We make sure all our plumbers carry an EFTPOS machine in their vans at all times.
