Plumber Belmont

On March 11th Jim’s Plumbing Belmont had a customer call through because their Rheem 50 Litre hot water unit located under a cabinet was leaking quite a bit of water. The customer explained they would like a plumber to attend to look at the issue as soon as possible. We fortunately had a plumber within the Belmont area and we were able to offer the customer for our plumber to attend the Kardinia Alley address in Belmont some time within the hour. The surprised customer was very pleased to hear this and immediately booked the job. It was just a short 24 minute wait for the customer before our plumber AC arrived at the customer’s home.
Once on site our plumber found that unfortunately the hot water unit was unable to be repaired. He discussed this with the customer and discussed with the customer what their hot water requirements were. With this information our plumber was able to provide the customer with a quote for the supply and install of a new hot water unit including installation of the unit on a drip tray with a terminator valve.

Our local Jim’s Plumber in the Belmont area attended to a property on Iona Avenue on the 18th of January. When the customer called through to the booking centre staff the customer advised that the toilet cistern was leaking into the bowl. The customer requested the plumber attend sometime that day. As we had time available we organised the local plumber to attend within the hour for them.
The plumber attended and had the toilet working soundly within just 45 minutes. The plumber replaced the ball valve, the outlet rubber and the flexi hose. To replace all these elements of the toilet the plumber used the following parts; quiet flow cistern inlet valve, outlet valve seating rubber and a water flexi hose. The plumber was able to do all this work without having to leave site as all the necessary parts to do this work was in the fully stocked van he arrived in. This is not only time efficient but also cost effective for the customer.
Once the plumber had completed the work and left site, our customer service manager gave the customer a call to see if they were happy with the plumber and the work that he did. The customer said they were happy with the plumber and everything appears to be fixed.

On a cold winter’s day on the 23rd of June at 11:46am, the Jims Plumbing booking centre received a call from a customer in Belmont requesting a plumber to come out and fix a sink in their bathroom that was leaking. Chloe, the consultant who answered the call, was able to liaise with dispatch to get the customer a same day appointment and have the plumber attend between 1 and 4pm that same day. The customer was surprised they were able to get a same day call out, and booked the job in with Chloe straight away.
The plumber arrived at the customer’s Fisher Street property at 2:06pm and was able to immediately start work when he arrived. This is possible because the plumber’s van was fully stocked with tools and materials for up to 95% of the common jobs our plumbers are sent out to do each day. After inspecting the bathroom sink it was found that the sink was actually blocked and was causing water damage. The plumber straight away switched off the water from the mains and got to work unblocking the drain and cleaning out the trap to avoid any further problems or water damage.
The plumber was finished at the property by 2:59pm and when he arrived at the site he was able to give the customer a fixed price to do the work, which the customer accepted and was happy about as he then knew exactly how much the job was going to cost. At the end of the job, the customer paid the plumber via credit card and the plumber arranged for an invoice to be emailed to them for their reference.
