Is a fault code 25 flashing on the status or digital monitor of your Rinnai continuous flow hot water system? If so this is an indication that there may be a blockage on the condensate drain path.
The Rinnai fault code display is an extremely handy diagnostic tool as it allows you to quickly see what the problem with your hot water heater is, which saves time and money in relation to the repair.
The first thing that you should do if you notice any error code flashing on your Rinnai hot water system is to simply turn the hot water tap to off and then back on again. If the error code remains try pushing the on/off button off and then back on again. If there was just a trip in the system this will clear the code. If the fault code still remains then the issue needs to be corrected before your hot water heater will operate as normal once more.
Rinnai Fault Code 25 Troubleshooting
If you’ve tried the above steps but the fault code 25 is still flashing on your continuous flow hot water heater monitor you should now turn your hot water system off and inspect the systems condensate drain line to see if there is a blockage of some sort.

If a blockage is found that you can easily remove yourself without having to take anything apart then do so and turn your system on again to see if the fault code has been cleared.
If you cannot visibly see a blockage and/or the Rinnai fault code 25 remains then your next step is to call in a qualified professional to rectify the issue.
